Support

Development trusts are about active citizens coming together to address local issues creatively.

You can be an active citizen and support LCDT and Lochwinnoch in several ways:

  1. Become a member (This takes 2 minutes, is free, and does not commit you to contribute any additional time). The larger the membership, the better we are representing our community and the more likely we will achieve our vision. A well-represented membership will also influence our ability to make funding applications, and make a strong business case for our projects.
  2. Have a say in our future directions. Once you are a member, you are able to influence the direction LCDT takes. At our Annual General Meeting,  you will be able to vote on issues that matter to you.
  3. Lend a helping hand – Do you have a skill or some time that could help the LCDT? Please let us know in your membership or contact us.
  4. Become a Member Director  Would you like to help run LCDT according to the Trust’s articles, and legal duties? (It’s not as scary as it sounds). You can select this in your membership below or contact us to chat about what it means.  This will be subject to election at the AGM.
  5. Stay updated by signing up for a newsletter or follow us on Facebook.

Members should be ordinarily resident in Lochwinnoch, or entitled to vote at a local government election in a polling district that includes the community or part of it (not Junior members).  Members support the objects and activities of LCDT.
