Lochwinnoch Community Development Trust is a non-profit organisation committed to serving the needs of Lochwinnoch residents.

Our voluntary Board consists of 7 directors.

Our governance is outlined in our Constitution and the Articles of Association.

Meet Our Board

Diarmid Harris – Chair  
A retired Depute Head who has recently returned to Lochwinnoch, Diarmid is on the Steering Committee for the Muirshiel Regeneration Project.

Martin Mansell – Secretary 
A retired Civil Engineer with expertise in hydrology and renewable energy, Martin has helped lead LCDT since its inception in 2019 and sits on the board of LEAP (Local Energy Action Project).

Bill White – Treasurer
Recently retired after 26 years in banking and 16 years in Higher Education (including the University of Glasgow), Bill brings finance, project management, and training experience. He moved to Lochwinnoch in 2015 and joined the LCDT in 2023 as Treasurer to support our projects.

Fiona Sutherland – Director 
Fiona has extensive experience in Human Resources.

Rafe Dewar – Director 
A professional ecologist who volunteers on wildlife surveys across Renfrewshire. He serves on the Lochwinnoch Force For Nature (LFFN) committee, promoting wildlife and biodiversity in the village.

Dianne Allan – Director 
Moved to Lochwinnoch from Cumbria 7 years ago.  Dianne is a semi-retired physiotherapist with a passion for outdoor activities and ecology. She volunteers with Clyde Muirsheil Regional Park and Eadha Enterprises.

Lucy Cunningham- Director
Lucy has twenty years of experience working with climate-related projects. During this time, she has engaged hundreds of people in conservation and community growing projects.
