LCDT Fair Work Statement

As a small organisation, we strive to have good employment practices. We are a living wage employer and are currently updating all our HR policies. We have two part-time staff members: our Lochhead Gardens Project Officer and our Development Officer. The post holders have 3-monthly review meetings with a named director and informal contact with directors every week, including a link to the vice chair. The PO takes a lead in supporting the project steering group and attends and participates in all steering group meetings where their input is sought and valued. The PO is encouraged to network with other officers in similar roles for guidance, support and personal development.
