LCDT is proud to support the newly forming Lochwinnoch Men’s Shed. The group will soon be based in our Lochhead Gardens community space.
The Men’s Shed is all about creating a welcoming, safe environment. The idea is that men can come together to share ideas, learn new skills, and collaborate on projects. The Men’s Shed will be a place to connect with others and enjoy some quality downtime. This includes making, repairing, repurposing, or just having a chat over a cup of tea.
We’re especially excited because the Shed will be located in our new social garden, a perfect setting for relaxation and gathering some creative inspiration.
In preparation, we are busy clearing the overgrown brambles at the planned shed site. We are actively seeking funding opportunities to turn this vision into reality!
With the support of the Scottish Men’s Shed Association (SMSA), we’re confident that this new venture will bring numerous benefits to our community.
Our goal is to make Lochwinnoch Men’s Shed a hub for friendship, personal growth, and fun. We look forward to seeing what this group can achieve and how it will enrich our village.
