The Lochwinnoch Men’s Shed group is celebrating a funding success, receiving a generous £1,500 grant from Bartec Municipal Technologies. This vital funding will allow the group to equip the interior of their new shed at Lochhead Gardens. After that, they can finally dive straight into their projects.
The Lochwinnoch Community Development Trust (LCDT) team had the pleasure of meeting with Bartec’s CEO, Tim, and Sales Manager, Steve, at the site of the Lochwinnoch Men’s Shed’s new home. All in all, the visit provided an excellent opportunity to discuss the group’s plans and show first-hand how the funding will make a real difference to the local community.

What’s Next for Lochwinnoch Men’s Shed?
As the interior fit-out is finally within reach, the group is looking forward to creating a welcoming space where members can share skills, work on projects, and build friendships. The shed will provide a place for local men to connect, learn, and contribute to the community while tackling isolation and promoting wellbeing.
