We are excited to share some fantastic news about our Social Garden Project! In April 2024, we received significant funding to help turn an old, unused site into a vibrant community garden.
Seed Money
Thanks to a generous three-year award from the National Lottery Community Fund and the Renfrewshire Council Sustainable Communities Fund, we can now take big steps forward with the Social Garden project.
This support is a vital boost, allowing us to begin the essential groundwork needed to transform the derelict site into a welcoming green space for everyone.
Breaking Ground
What’s next? With this new funding, we’ll be able to make real progress on clearing and preparing the land. After that, we plan to start installing the buildings and facilities we initially envisioned-creating a place where the community can gather, relax, and enjoy nature.
Growing Together
We believe this garden will become a hub for connection, nature, and wellbeing. Stay tuned as we continue to develop this exciting project and make our community a greener, more vibrant place.
